Willow Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers throughout the greater Austin area. We're a small, local agency — not a call center — and we build schedules and client matches around real caregivers, not the other way around.
Home care work is hard, and too many agencies treat caregivers like an interchangeable, disposable workforce — different client every day, no say in your schedule, and pay that doesn't reflect the skill and compassion the job actually takes. We built Willow to do it differently.
As a Willow Home Care caregiver, you'll provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and adults who want to stay safely and comfortably in their own homes. Depending on the client and your own skills and certifications, that can include:
We're currently looking for caregivers throughout our full service area: Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Kyle, Buda, Leander, Hutto, Manor, Lakeway, Westlake Hills, and Dripping Springs. If you live in or near one of these communities and have reliable transportation to get to client homes, we want to hear from you.
Not necessarily — it depends on the level of care a particular client needs. Some positions call for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or similar certification, while others are companion-care roles with more flexible requirements. Tell us your background and we'll match you with the right opportunities.
Both are available. Tell us your real availability and we'll do our best to build a schedule around it, whether that's a few shifts a week or a full caseload.
Commute time to your first client and home from your last is not paid, consistent with standard practice. But when your schedule has you driving from one client directly to another, that drive time is paid at your hourly rate, and mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS business rate.
After you apply, we'll set up a phone or in-person interview, run a background check and reference check, and walk through any required training. We move quickly — many caregivers are matched with their first client within one to two weeks of applying.
